Editing
What are the key things about editing? Consistency; applying client’s preferred style; correcting errors in grammar, spelling, and punctuation; polishing the writing for greater clarity and coherency; honouring the author’s voice. During all editing projects, it is essential to build a style sheet that details the spelling preferences, use of capitals and italics, use of numbers, and application of special terms and references in order to maintain consistency throughout the document. Carefully editing endnotes/footnotes and references/bibliographies according to Chicago Manual of Style or APA Style.
