After graduating with an MA in history, Beth McAuley began her professional editing career and has built a solid reputation as an academic editor with both publishers and scholars. In 1997, she launched the successful Women’s Issues Publishing Program with Sumach Press. As the series editor, she acquired, edited, and published 24 books, which received positive reviews, were widely adopted in women’s studies courses, and won awards. The series ran until 2009.
